LETTERPRESS
This collection of hand-illustrated letterpress cards explores storytelling through texture, line, and craftsmanship. Each design began as an original pen-to-paper illustration before being carefully prepared for letterpress production and printed on luxurious 110 lb. Crane's Lettra cotton paper, chosen for its rich texture and ability to capture the deep tactile impression that makes letterpress so distinctive.
Every card carries its own personality and narrative. The bulldog illustration was inspired by my own loyal furry companion, translating his unmistakable charm and expressive features into bold linework and playful detail. Girl on the Rodeo Pig embraces whimsy, spontaneity, and a touch of absurdity, blending humor with hand-drawn artistry to create a piece that feels both unexpected and joyful. The Little Monster serves as a nostalgic tribute to my creative beginnings, inspired by the imaginative doodles of a classmate during my design school years.
Together, this series highlights my passion for illustration, typography, and traditional printmaking—where concept, craftsmanship, and storytelling come together in a format designed to be held, felt, and remembered.
